Green Livelihoods Alliance’s Partners meeting
After the mid-term meeting in September, 2018, during March 4-5, 2019, in the Imperial City of Hue, PanNature joined our partners in a meeting under the Green Livelihoods Alliance Program (GLA).
The meeting was chaired by Tropenbos Viet Nam, with the participation of GLA Vietnam partners including Tropenbos Vietnam, PanNature, and Vietnam Conservation Center (VietNature). In addition, the meeting was also attended by representatives of Tropenbos International, and International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN- the Netherlands).
This is an opportunity for all partners to review changes in context, share experiences and results in 2018 as well as discuss project plans in coming years for the final goal of promoting comprehensive governance and sustainable forest landscapes in Vietnam.
GLA is sponsored by The Netherlands’ Ministry of Foreign Affairs and being implemented in 9 countries and 16 landscapes in Asia and Africa. GLA focuses on inclusive and sustainable forest governance contributing to protect public goods such as clean water, fertilized soil, good climate and biodiversity. Each landscape has its own theory of change developed based on current context and expected outcomes. In Vietnam, GLA program is implemented in upper Srepok river basin landscape, mostly in Lak and Krong Bong district, Dak Lak province. |
