In Vietnam, management of wildlife diseases has garnered attention from both the State and the public. This is evident through a comprehensive system of regulations addressing diseases that can be transmitted from wildlife to humans spanning a range of documents, from laws to decrees and circulars. However, despite these efforts, the practical implementation of wildlife disease management still encounters numerous challenges and shortcomings.
Training: Analysis, monitoring and benefit sharing in ERPA implementation
On February 24, 2023, in Hue City, PanNature organized a training course on “Analysis and monitoring of benefit sharing in the implementation of ERPA in the North Central region.”
This event was organized to support the implementation of Decree 107/2022/ND-CP on the Pilot transfer of emission reduction and financial management under the Emission Reductions Payment Agreement for the North Central region. (ERPA).
The objectives of the event are to bring policy information closer to forest protection communities, help the community better understand the payment process and benefits-sharing mechanism regulated in the Decree, and discuss the monitoring mechanism under ERPA.
The workshop attracted the participation of civil society organizations, community representatives of the communities, and local governmental agencies.
