Music for the Forest: Inspiring Environmental Action Through Melodies

Believing in the power of music to inspire change, Cuon Hood Entertainment has launched “Uom Mam Xanh” (Nurturing Green Shoots)—a music video (MV) and project aimed at fostering a love for nature, encouraging environmental responsibility, and engaging young people in community-driven conservation efforts.

In response to growing environmental pollution and the devastating effects of climate change, Cuon Hood’s youth group was inspired by forest restoration initiatives like “ReGreening Forests” and the “For a Green and Sustainable Vietnam” campaign. Their project connects music with environmental action, using creativity to highlight the urgent need for forest restoration and nature protection.

The “Uom Mam Xanh” MV, featuring artists Le Tu Hao, Nguyen Xuan Kien, and Khoai Tay, delivers a heartfelt message through its melodies and lyrics. It calls for action to restore barren lands and deforested hills, creating a space for people to unite in protecting nature. The MV debuted on November 5 in Hanoi, during a launch event attended by around 70 guests, including media representatives, partners, and music enthusiasts.

At the event, Ms. To Bich Ngoc, PanNature’s Communication Officer, expressed: “PanNature is delighted that the ‘For a Green and Sustainable Vietnam’ project, initiated by Vietnam Airlines, MoMo, and PanNature, has inspired the young artists behind this MV. They’ve used their music to spread love for nature and encourage the community to nurture more green shoots. This campaign has grown beyond tree planting in the Northwest forests—it has become a movement touching the hearts of young people nationwide and fostering a shared commitment to a greener, more sustainable Vietnam.”

Artist Le Tu Hao, the project’s initiator, shared: “I believe music can inspire and unite young people in environmental activities. Through “Uom Mam Xanh”, we aim to spread meaningful messages that raise awareness about the importance of trees and the environment. This project is our contribution to greening more areas in Vietnam, built on the belief that music is a bridge for everyone to come together to take action for the planet.“

Cuon Hood Entertainment hopes that this initiative will not only inspire environmental awareness but also ignite a movement of tree planting, bringing communities together to build a greener, more beautiful Vietnam.
